excessive dawn

Hello.
I've found somewhere information that edawn works for OpenArena.
Because i'm quite newbie in Linux systems i'm not sure how to install it properly (i'm using Ubuntu 12.04).
I hope that there is still someone here that could help me

Download mod-only package and extract to your regular ioquake3 locaton:
