edawn.exe(1.32e) is based in ioquake3 rev.1160 w/upstream fixes and my custom improvements - not all of them can be applied to current ioq3 because of different reasons (raw input because of SDL for example)

Also general mod stuff (ui/game/cgame) is not based on ioq3 - its heavily modified q3 sdk sources + modified sdk tools ;)

It is not based on ioq3, also they do not want Cyrax's work, cause Cyrax is too awesome ;)

Yesterday I installed EDAWN. Man it was awesome, thank you very much for your marvelous work.

Ql was just horrible, so last 2 years I was playing less and less, until - in December - I dropped it finally altogether with my pro account :/. Since that time, I played very little quake, only a few games each week on exy's osp ctf. But yesterday my hearth was beating again:) Thanks again, and please keep up the good work!
And give us ctf server with 3w maps if possible please, It would be my pleasure to volunteer for admining and stuffz if any help is needed:)


ps.: just one quakestion (:D), why not implement the client stuff into ioquake3 if its based on that code?
